  Today maintained by the NPS, this small chapel is a testament to the hard work that average people poured into it for generations. Interesting to learn the story of Beulah Alberty and others who made their home here.
  You can hike to this historic district on the north end of the island, bike along the main road, or take a guided vehicle tour (NPS Lands and Legacies tour or Greenfield private inn tour). The NPS tour is an ADA accessible wilderness tour, it's a good idea to call ahead.

  This is the site of the John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette wedding. The structure itself is quite small and intimate. Set back in the thick Spanish moss covered woods. Don't expect much from the grounds as it is only a church on a open patch of land. If you are big into history you will have to research before going as there is no information onsite. Bug spray and sunscreen are recommended.

  Never been there consciously however the simplicity is astoundingly familiar. So nice that folks with no money can honor God with a small structure, 8 pews and a simple cross on the Alter Table. Simple yet elegant
